Meeting Time: 8 AM Sharp Location: P338+947 - RAK Hike Difficulty: 6/10 Fitness Difficulty: Moderate Technical Difficulty: Moderate Hike Duration: 7 Hours Hike Distance: 14 km About the Hike: This is an intermediate level hike for those who are getting used to the day hikes and want to expand their comfort zones. Although there is no climbing on the trail, there will be parts where we have to hike on very narrow ridges and crawl through gaps, it will definitely get your blood pumping! Besides being thrilling, this canyon is one of the most picturesque ones in the UAE with a beautiful variety of landscape and scenery. Since this trail is relatively longer, we will be hiking at a faster pace so moderate levels of fitness and good confidence in the mountains are required. Hiking shoes are recommended for maximum safety and comfort. Please contact us for hiking shoes recommendations and discount codes. Transportation: 4 Wheel Drives are NOT needed to get to the meeting point; however they are required to get to the trail starting point. If you do not have a 4 wheel drive, we will carpool from the meeting point to the trail start. If you do not have a way to get to the meeting point either, please contact us and we are happy to help arrange a carpool for you. Health & Safety: 1. You have to pack at least 3 liters of water for the hike, we cannot stress on this point enough 2. Light snacks are recommended to keep you fueled 3. Hiking boots are strongly recommended for your safety and comfort 4. Smoking is strictly NOT allowed during the hike 5.
