Note: You will be divided into Group A and Group B depending on your hiking experience with Grasp The Adventure and your fitness levels. Group A will hike to the summit while Group B will hike to the pool (around mid-point). We will inform you of your group when you sign up. Meeting Time: 8 AM Sharp Location: X5M8+MX - Ras al Khaimah Hike Overall Difficulty: Group A: 7/10 Group B: 4/10 Fitness Difficulty: Group A: High Group B: Moderate Technical Difficulty: Low (Group A and B) Hike Duration: 6-7 hours Hike Distance/Elevation Gain: Group A: 14 km/ 1200 m Group B: 9 km/ 650 m About the Hike: There is a reason Stairway to Heaven is the most talked-about hike in the UAE; it takes a good amount of fitness to make it to the summit and back but the views are extremely worth it. The total elevation gain from starting point to the summit is around 1200m that is roughly the same as Mount Kilimanjaro's summit night push! To ensure that everyone has an enjoyable and safe day of hiking, our Grasp The Adventure team will divide you into two groups depending on your hiking experience with us and your overall fitness levels. Group A will hike to the summit, a constant pace and limited breaks will be maintained in order to complete the hike safely. Group B will hike to the Pool around mid-point. Health & Safety: 1. You have to pack at least 3 liters of water for the hike, we cannot stress on this point enough 2. Light snacks are recommended to keep you fueled 3. Hiking boots are strongly recommended for your safety and comfort 4. Smoking is strictly NOT allowed during the hike 5. Hike & Movie Night Policy: Cancellations will be accepted with full refund minus 5% processing fees until 72 hours from the adventure No refunds will be processed for cancellations within 72 hours of the adventure As we try to run Grasp the Adventure with a family spirit, specific cases can be considered Outdoor Climbing Policy: 15 days before the adventure: 95% Refund Between 7-15 days before the adventure: 50% Refund Less than 7 days before the adventure: 0% Refund
