Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Mallorca – Sóller & The Orange Express
Welcome to Mallorca! Upon arrival at Palma de Mallorca Airport, our team will meet you and transfer you to our hotel, the beautiful Cabot Pollensa Park Spa, where you’ll have some time to check in and settle into island life. Once everyone has arrived, we’ll make our way to the charming town of Sóller, famous for its picturesque streets, cafés, and citrus groves. Here, we’ll board the historic Orange Express, Mallorca’s iconic wooden tram, for a scenic ride through the valley towards Port de Sóller, soaking in breathtaking views of the Tramuntana Mountains and the Mediterranean coastline. You’ll then have some free time to explore the town, browse the local shops, or simply enjoy a coffee by the waterfront before we gather for our welcome dinner and officially kick off our Mallorca adventure.
Day 2: Puig Tomir
Elevation gain: 695 m / Hiking distance: 9.5 km / Hiking time: 4 hrsAfter breakfast at the hotel, we’ll head into the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana for our first mountain adventure. Today’s objective is Puig Tomir, one of northern Mallorca’s most rewarding summits. The trail gradually climbs through shaded forests before opening onto rugged limestone terrain with increasingly spectacular panoramic views. As we gain elevation, the surrounding mountains, coastline, and sparkling Mediterranean Sea begin to unfold beneath us. After reaching the summit and celebrating our first mountain achievement together, we’ll enjoy a well-earned lunch surrounded by incredible scenery before descending back to the trailhead and returning to the hotel for a relaxing evening.
Day 3: Camí de s’Arxiduc
Elevation gain: 695 m / Hiking distance: 14 km / Hiking time: 6.5 hrs
Following breakfast, we’ll make our way to Valldemossa to begin one of Mallorca’s most iconic hiking routes. Built by Archduke Ludwig Salvator in the nineteenth century, the Camí de s’Arxiduc follows an incredible mountain ridge offering uninterrupted views across dramatic limestone cliffs, lush valleys, and the endless Mediterranean Sea. Throughout the day we’ll enjoy a mixture of ancient stone pathways, open mountain scenery, and some of the finest viewpoints anywhere on the island. We’ll stop for lunch along the ridge before completing the circuit and returning to the hotel after another unforgettable day in the Tramuntana Mountains.
Day 4: Rest Day – Explore Mallorca
After several incredible days in the mountains, today is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Relax by the pool, unwind at the hotel’s spa, stroll through the streets of Port de Pollença, or simply spend the day soaking up the Mediterranean atmosphere. Those looking for a little more adventure may choose to rent a bicycle and explore Mallorca’s world-famous cycling routes, visit nearby beaches, or discover one of the island’s many charming villages. The day is all about recharging and preparing for our biggest mountain challenge tomorrow.
Day 5: Puig de Massanella
Elevation gain: 700 m / Hiking distance: 12 km / Hiking time: 6 hrs
Today is the crown jewel of our adventure. After breakfast, we’ll return to the Serra de Tramuntana to conquer Puig de Massanella, the second-highest peak on the island and the highest summit that hikers can freely access. The trail steadily ascends through forests before giving way to dramatic rocky landscapes and breathtaking mountain scenery. As we approach the summit, the panoramic views become increasingly spectacular, stretching across the entire Tramuntana range and, on clear days, much of the island itself. After celebrating our achievement at the summit and enjoying lunch with one of the best views in Mallorca, we’ll descend back to the trailhead before returning to the hotel for a well-deserved evening of rest.
Day 6: Deià – Sóller
Elevation gain: 350 m / Hiking distance: 10.9 km / Hiking time: 5 hrs
After yesterday’s summit challenge, today offers a more relaxed but equally beautiful adventure. Following breakfast, we’ll travel to the artistic village of Deià and begin our scenic coastal hike towards Sóller. This historic section of the famous GR221 Dry Stone Route winds through ancient olive groves, terraced hillsides, traditional stone villages, and breathtaking Mediterranean landscapes. Along the way we’ll stop for lunch while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere that has inspired artists and writers for generations. Upon reaching Sóller, we’ll have some free time to explore the town before returning to the hotel.
Day 7: Cúber Reservoir – Puig de l’Ofre
Elevation gain: 430 m / Hiking distance: 11.5 km / Hiking time: 6 hrs
Our final hiking day brings us to one of the most scenic mountain landscapes in Mallorca. After breakfast, we’ll begin our hike beside the beautiful Cúber Reservoir before ascending towards Puig de l’Ofre. Throughout the day we’ll experience a constantly changing landscape of mountain lakes, forests, rocky ridgelines, and sweeping panoramic views over the heart of the Tramuntana Mountains. After reaching the summit and enjoying our final lunch together in the mountains, we’ll return to the trailhead before heading back to the hotel to freshen up. In the evening, we’ll gather one last time for our farewell dinner to celebrate an unforgettable week of adventure, friendship, and shared achievements. It may be the end of the trip, but I guarantee you the memories created and the friendships built throughout this week will stay with you long after we’ve left the mountains behind. We may have arrived as strangers, but we’re leaving as one big Grasper Family!
Day 8: Departure
After breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to beautiful Mallorca. Depending on your flight schedule, you’ll have some free time before our transfer to Palma de Mallorca Airport. As we head home, you’ll take with you not only incredible memories of Mallorca’s spectacular mountains and coastline, but also new friendships, unforgettable experiences, and the satisfaction of having grasped one of Europe’s finest hiking destinations.
