9.6- NYE Hike & Camp
Your Adventure at a Glance
Hike Details
Our most festive hike of the season, because we’ll be celebrating Grasp’s Birthday and the new year! We will meet on Jabal Yanas for a safety briefing before hiking deep into the mountain towards the hidden villages. The route then takes us out of the villages and into a mixture of different canyons and gorges until we make our way back up the mountain and to our cars.
After the hike, you may opt to stay behind for our BBQ… we really think you should. We will be lighting a bonfire and celebrating Grasp the Adventure’s Birthday and New Year’s the grasper way! Camping is optional but strongly recommended, after all, why wouldn’t you want to enjoy the starry night around a campfire with likeminded graspers?!
Post Hike BBQ
No adventure is complete without our famously delicious Grasper BBQ! Once we’re back at the meet-up spot after the hike, you can grasp the FOMO and head home, or make the right choice and feast on our secretly marinated steaks, smash burgers, spicy chicken burgers, and more.
Add your BBQ order at checkout, or head over to the ‘Food Orders’ page to order later.
Getting There
You won’t need a 4WD to reach the meet-up spot; the parking area is accessible to any car.
From there, we’ll share rides in the available 4x4s to reach the trailhead, saving us roughly 3 km of walking along a dirt road. If you have a 4×4, please bring it along and help a few fellow Graspers get to the starting point!
Grasp the Adventure does not provide transportation, but we’re happy to help coordinate carpooling. Once you sign up, you’ll receive a link to the hike’s WhatsApp group, where we’ll help connect you with fellow Graspers to share a ride.
